The fact that the pattern keeps repeating is almost too obvious to mention. Repetition is what keeps the pattern from being just a random smattering of noise.

All I really hope for in this life is to have something interesting to say before I die; that, and for someone with a good memory to be around when I say it.

that second paragraph really should stand by itself. It's shimmers with desktop calender quoteiness.

And while there's an interesting dynamic here - it's like the second thing is supposed to refer to first a bit, but instead, is itself a better example of what it's talking about...

well, I dunno. Just doing my thinking outloud, I guess.

the thoughts you are out loud thinking are similar to my own. really, the only reason both these paragraphs inhabit the same post is that i thought them both up at the same time.

here is my internal debate: i have the power to split them up into separate posts, but would the Me That Wrote these be upset if he knew that the Me That Edited them was going to come along?

answer: no, i don't think he would care too much.
